What's the Scoop?

What's black and white and re(a)d all over?

A NEWSPAPER!

I think that joke works much better when said aloud. But, something that does work on the page is our new range of Newspaper print quilting fabric!

Seriously, how cool are these? There are six designs in all, ranging from vintage newspaper ads to headlines to a few cheeky personals - maybe you can find your perfect match in our lonely hearts club?

Newspaper Print Quilting Fabric, 100% Cotton, 112cm wide, $12.99m. In store now.

I've already got so many projects planned for these little beauties that they'll likey make headlines. But to get you started, who can read past the classic newspaper hat!

We found an awesome tutorial by Kaelin at the plaid scottie demonstrating how to make your very own newspaper hat - out of fabric!

Check out her tutorial here.

Now that's newsworthy.

  1. Thanks, I was in Rockdale yesterday and didn't see these. I was specifically looking for text fabric. :-(

  3. Is there any way to get these in the US?? I live very near the Kansas City Art Institute, and would love to make something with the blue print for some friends on the staff!

  4. Hi Lauren,
Unfortunately we do not ship to the US at this stage. If you can find a helpful reader who is happy to purchase on your behalf and post them to you, then go for it!
    Sorry we can't help further.

    Cheers
